South East Queensland farmer, Caitlin McConnell from Cressbrook has been awarded a climate-smart farming scholarship by Farmers for Climate Action.

The State of the Climate 2022 report, released on 23 November by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology, has found changes to weather and climate extremes are happening at an increased pace across Australia.

A fantastic and informative film called ‘Myrtle Rust – the silent killer’ has been published on YouTube, which shares first-hand stories from indigenous rangers, scientists, and landowners in Queensland and northern NSW about this exotic plant disease.
